Lovely log cabin units. Great mountain and valley views. Excellent meals at the on-site restaurant. Friendly staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. Peaceful and quiet location. Close to the park attractions. Cute and relaxing atmosphere.

Helmcken Falls Lodge, nestled in the heart of British Columbia, offers incredible value for money. With its affordable prices and attention to detail, this rustic lodge is a hidden gem. The location could not be better, as it is situated right on the doorstep of Wells Gray Provincial Park. The staff are friendly and efficient, ensuring that guests have a wonderful experience. The rooms, complete with balconies and comfortable beds, provide a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. And to top it off, the breakfast, although not including cooked food, is a delightful start to the day.

No major issues were noted during our stay, everything was satisfactory.

Nothing, all was good.

Closest to sights of Wells Grey, no TV, 20 min drive for cell signal, great "off the grid" feel. Friendly lodge with character cabins, small porch with rocking chair, great views. Fabulous log cabin units, lovely front deck, true wilderness, bug spray needed. Excellent meals at historic lodge, substantial portions, high prices offset. Staff greets and helps, incredible display of hummingbirds.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is evident throughout the entire establishment. The location is perfect, nestled within the provincial park, providing guests with a serene and peaceful environment. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are beautifully furnished and offer stunning views of the surroundings. The beds are comfortable and the private bathrooms are in a completely different level.

No improvements needed, everything was perfect.

The location of the lodge was absolutely stunning, surrounded by breathtaking nature and with an amazing view from our cabin. The cabin itself was charming and cozy, with a rustic feel that added to the overall experience. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of activities available in the area, including beautiful walks, waterfalls, and even the chance to spot wildlife like black bears.

This made it less ideal for a quick overnight stay. The water in the taps had a strange color, which initially made it appear dirty.

We were thrilled with the boundless winter activities offered at Helmcken Falls Lodge. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and personal service made us feel right at home. The lodge itself had a simple charm that we appreciated, withnice and neat rooms providing a great night's sleep. The lovely views of unique ice formations at Helmcken, Dawson, and Mushbowl falls were perfect for photography enthusiasts like us. And the best part? The lodge is located in the heart of Wells Gray park, offering endless opportunities for groomed and backcountry cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. We even encountered moose and wolf tracks during our outdoor adventures. we highly recommend Helmcken Falls Lodge for a winter getaway in the wilderness.

The location of this hotel was perfect, as it was close to the most interesting attractions, such as Helmken Falls. there was a normal supermarket nearby and easy access to local waterfalls. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We recently had a romantic escape in a lodge surrounded by beautiful nature. We loved the isolation that made us feel like we were the only people in the world. The delicious food provided by the restaurant was an added bonus. Surrounded by stunning scenery and lots of wildlife, our favorite activity was hiking and exploring the surrounding area.

Although we loved the rustic experience, we did feel that the room was a bit outdated and could use some modern touches. there were limited options for dining in the area, which made it difficult to have variety in our meals.

I loved staying in the log cabin unit with a front deck and a fine view of the mountains. The hotel facilities were super comfortable and clean, with a bathroom that had both a bathtub and a shower. The location was perfect, very close to the main attractions of Wells Gray like Helmcken Falls in around 10 km, within the Wells Gray park. The highlight was the very nice display of hummingbirds just half a meter away from us while we enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed.

I recently had an amazing stay at a rustic lodge in the heart of a provincial park. The location was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the mountains from my room. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was top-notch. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with two cozy beds and private bathrooms. I loved the extra touch of having sitting chairs in the room, perfect for enjoying the view. The breakfast, although not including cooked food, was delicious and satisfying.

All aspects of my stay were fantastic.

Perfect wilderness adventure location! Situated close to breathtaking natural park ideal for all outdoor activities. the on-site horse riding and RV park are a bonus.

Facilities could be better equipped, and perhaps some maintenance could be improved. Limited food options outside and location is remote, with a long drive to town.

The lodge is set in a magnificent location with lots of activities to do around the area. Perfect for young holiday goers.
